Crafting Exceptional Designs

We believe in our Design Process, and that begins with you.

No. 1

Your needs and wants will drive the design process, and our expertise will help you get there.

Whether you have been referred to us by a friend, or stumbled across one of our projects on a drive, our first objective is to build a relationship with you.

Site Planning

Once we get to know each other, we perform a site visit with you so we can understand your vision.

Whether you have an empty parcel, or are looking to breathe new life into a previously loved home, our initial site visit is crucial to developing a design plan.

Design Consultation

Following our initial site visit, we will find a time that works for you to sit down and discuss the project as a whole.

This conversation will focus on overall design intent, budget expectations, permit and construction timelines, and any must have/ have-nots. Our team will take this information and create a project proposal for your review.

Conceptual Design

Assuming a mutual agreement on the terms of the project proposal, we will get to work on refining your design ideas into a buildable solution.

This phase is what you might picture designing a project to look like; lots of sketches, 3D renders, and material selections. We will keep an open line of contact throughout this process to produce a set of black lines that you are satisfied with. Frequent informal meetings can be expected during this stage as we work towards a product that you love. Once you sign off on the design, we will move in the construction documentation phase.

Construction Documentation

At this stage, we will have worked with you to find a suitable builder for the project, or will have engaged your own builder of choice if provided to us.

The construction documentation phase takes the conceptual design and ads all relevant information required for permitting and construction.

Final Steps

At this stage, we will take a step back as the builder assumes the primary role in the building process.

We will work with any subconsultants that are required to complete the build, and coordinate all additional drawings into one working set for the builder to use throughout the construction process. Although our role will be winding down, we will remain a consistent presence throughout the build and the most important point of contact for you or any required design interpretation on site.

The only thing left after this is to simply enjoy your finished space!
